Jay B. Danto, D.O. is a physician board certified in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Family Medicine. Dr. Danto graduated from Michigan State University—College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU-COM) and completed his Family Practice residency from a combined program by MSU-COM and St. John-Oakland Hospital. He is an individual who is driven to service his patients to the fullest of his abilities and he is always pushing to expand those abilities. In pursuit of this Dr. Danto has attained a Certificate of Special Proficiency in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field. His acupuncture training was from the Helm's - UCLA Medical Acupuncture Training Program (currently affiliated with Stanford University), the oldest and the best established training program for physicians in the United States.In addition to being a dedicated clinician he is also a dedicated educator. He has completed two teaching fellowships at Michigan State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He regularly educates physicians in training at all different levels of medical education. He has completed a research fellowship at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the author of many articles on osteopathic philosophy and education, he's written a book on the Normalization of Muscle Pain, and is currently working on a book about spinal decompression.
